Managing Director and Consultant
Andrew is an experienced management consultancy professional, with vast experience in delivering high level training and lecturing. Andrew has an MBA from the University of Exeter, and has recently completed the Level 5 Certificate in Human Resources from the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD). Andrew has experience in management consultancy within a variety of sectors including retail, manufacturing and professional services.
Andrew's specialism in consultancy includes developing high quality process management practices (BPM), lean management and providing sustainable business strategy (triple-bottom line). His approach to quality management is rooted in Japanese and contemporary lean management.
He also holds significant experience of delivering strategic support to organisations to develop their approaches to quality management, with a track record of improving productivity, responsiveness and profitability within organisational processes.
Previously, Andrew has also provided negotiation and consultation between the HR function and staff of business, as well as mediating issues between both factions.
Andrew has presented at a number of large scale conferences including the AoC National Research and Scholarship conference, the UK Small Business conference and numerous Higher Education conferences.
Andrew has 10 years’ experience of lecturing/training at degree level and higher professional qualification levels, and has been nominated for three teaching awards for his engaging, pragmatic and personable approach.
Andrew's passion is to develop positive, high quality environments for businesses and individuals, as well as enabling individuals to have the ability to achieve their potential professionally. Andrew is a strong believer in achieving a healthy work-life balance and simplifying work processes.
Outside of work, Andrew is a proud Devonian and lives in Barnstaple. He plays squash and football in his leisure time and enjoys reading.
